Memberships, Accreditation

Alaska Youth and Parent Foundation is a UNITED WAY Agency, partnering with other United Way agencies to create a community of caring.

Anchorage United Way

In cooperation with the initiative of the Division of Family and Youth Services (DFYS) to promote quality of care in residential child care facilities by encouraging and facilitating accreditation, Alaska Youth and Parent Foundation had voluntarily started the lengthy and costly ACCREDITATION process.

Alaska Youth and Parent Foundation was a member of:

The Alaska Association of Homes for Children (AAHC)

and

The Alaska Children's Mental Health Stakeholders Assn. (ACMHSA)

and

American Association of Children's Residential Centers (AACRC)

Due to the closure of the residential programs, these memberships have been discontinued.
